Lavender Moon Quartz comes from only one mine in the entire world, mined straight from the host rock in very small quantities. It’s origin is the Boquira Mine in the municipality of Oliveira Dos Brejinhos in the Brazilian state of Bahia. The mine opened in 1956 and is no longer producing, so it is VERY RARE.
Some say is a type of amethyst or chalcedony, but it is actually a type of rose quartz, colored with maganese and titanium.
